i've learnt not to be too quick to judge...

it's always fair to give people the benefit of the doubt...i guess?

just bored!
whoosh! it's such a great weather for tanning and swimming...! hurhur... qi & i just had ourselves soaked under the beams of this scorchy morning sun...so we're a lil' burnt now! Yip yip! Sentosa beach, wait for us! we'll be right there as soon as the hols hit straight at us!
lunched-out at Parco's pastamania with bestie yesterday... and whilst window shopping this lame-looking brochure that was in the shape of a lip somehow landed into our hands...and so there went the image of the two uni students who started coming up with spastic expressions with this...haha hot lips.
anyway, at home i came up with more. haha..

ok, i really am spastic.

where i seek solace in.
i have totally exhausted wadeva energy dats left in me...uploading pics in blogger is really such a CHORE!
and it isn't very helpful when some kuku-headed neighbour of mine ( mind you, across ma block) is blasting away techno/trans (whichever it is, both starts with a 't' and both are just as sucky!) music like electricity is free! is there is direct relationship, anyway?
It can be so tiring to get together a group of strangers to work on a project. Different expectations, time-schedules, and miscommunications. aiyo. only two words. mafan-ar!
EL test is coming. i'm studying it like a crazy pig. cuz it doesnt make any cow sense to me. And if i still fail, i think i can just go and die.
buuooff. feel better now. blog is one good avenue to complain.

my sixth sense.
Drats! Yet another day wasted...
er...SLEEPING...*drowning in guilt*
I always lose...when it comes to fighting sleep.
There's so much to do and i just dont know how and where to start.
And worse still.
I sense something bad brewing. it's coming. i know it.

gud day...gud friday.
all went well for today's test. yippie!
but then again, mb it really isn't something worth celebrating afterall..
since it wunt be surprising if every single soul taking this module scores pretty well for it.
the whole test was designed in a way you could actually spot clues that will give you the correct answer, if you're observant enough. yea, so it wasn't really that hard to go wrong.
yea and the test was like something that could be completed in 45 minutes. (test time 90 mins?)
I can only say one thing about the lecturer.
He's real slack.
You see lil' effort on his part in setting challenging questions.
But seriously, we all love such lecturers don't we?
They make our lives easier, and not to mention, less stressful! *thumbs UP-UP-UP!*
maybe I was too quick to judge
this mid term's only an appeitizer..to whet our tastebuds...
Who knows he might just spring a surprise attack on us-- with the hardest questions he can possibly churn out from his super brain cells this coming finals!
Haha..see the Irony?
When a test is difficult, we complain. (and curse)
&
When a test is easy, we still complain!
Humans, difficult to please.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
And so the day ended for me in 45 mins!
lunched in and headed off to library with haihai with the primary intention to complete her tutorials..but as you have already predicted, we ended up chattering more than we did any serious stuff.
Biny joined me after her lessons and we caught HUO YUAN JIA!
woooo...shu is so kewl...totally!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Yay...tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow!
6pm 6pm 6pm!
ktv! ktv! ktv!
ling ling and a ting!

i still have presentations to prepare.

happy bday lyn!
she's 21!!
here's a list of presents she recieved this bday:
1) Birkenstock slippers ($100+++)
2) SK jewellery ( >$80)
3) Swaroski E'Sprit watch...from us! ( $270)
4) IPOD Nano..*SCREAMS* ( $300+++)
5) total of $700++ worth of Angpows
6) haagen dazs strawberry ice cream cake ($135)
frankly speaking, tempting isn't it?
but $1000++ as a tradeoff for inching one step towards the BIG 3?
i'd rather preserve my youth, really!( if i could.)
yup. next year's my turn.
not really looking forward to it. (what say this coming one!)
but i wouldn't mind the presents actually.
heh heh heh.

A BAD day?
HAHAHHA biggest joke on earth!
today isn't particularly my elder sis's day.
She tripped and fell AGAIN. yup, it isn't the first time we hear her say she's tripping at work. she was walking up the stairs when her heels got hooked at her long pants, causing her to lose her balance and topple in the most unglamourous manner you can possibly imagine. hahahaha....
then now back at home, after a shower, she was blowing her hair dry, only to get a bunch of hair stuck in the hairdryer! took a while before my sec sis eventually freed her from that hair eating machine thing. hahaha
she said she feels so bullied today and that the safest thing for her to do now is probably to get to sleep so she'll be free of any possible unfortunate events that may befall on her.
so let's all just pray she doesn't get a nightmare tonight.
hahahaha!!!

muahahaha
hahaha i'm such a pro. i really did beat them till the flowers wilt and water flows! but too bad no bets involved!
gotta praise chef binbin for whipping up awesome cereal prawn and hakka abacus kueh. it was really impressive...esp those prawns...drools. My conclusion: she is training hard to be either a (1) full/part-time housewife (2) good mother (3) full/part-time housemaid. hahaha kidding. well at least she's better than me. almost everyone thinks i'm hopeless.
weet. forgot there wasnt any NM tutorial today. but luckily i wasnt alone. haha. there were 2 other stupid fellows sitting with me in the tutorial room waiting for no one to come.
And finally today, i saw ear stud eye-lolli! He's still looking as good as before. hahaha...

best hols of the year!
WEEEEE!! i love CNY!! The get togethers for my family is always so fun and rewarding! we've been seeing the same faces for three consecutive days already...but we just seem to have endless things to talk about, endless spread of delicacies to fill our tummies--all credits to the great cooks: my mum and aunties, and endless coins to thrust onto the gambling table (small bets la..) ! It's so blessed to be part of this family, really!
tmr will be house hopping to binny's & ne's place! so exciting!
haha but i'll be so screwed for wed- fri's tutorials...
gahh..cldn't care less for now! ENOYING my CNY is my current priority!

new colours, new posters
o i forgot to add that i had this corny & outrageous dream of my teeth last night. my molars were like half hanging and drooping from the gum and i was bleeding profusely...but the dentist refused to treat me and told me that i am to come only on my next appointment, which is like a month later!! haha!
Oyes..i went to visit my dentist on wed and had my rubbers changed!...now i have caterpillar colours on my braces and i think i look funky!
Since it was the new year, my sis and i decided we should make some super important and major changes to our room wall...
presenting you:

2 new JAY posters! ok la not so new afterall...but i just replaced the previous one with these two!
lalala~

i smell WEEK ENDS!!
CHEERIOS!! wkends' here!
yippies..! tutorials, reaction paper and coursepacks can be thrown all to one side for the time being. they were simply ruling the whole of my third week man...dead tired after every single day.
looking in retrospect and comparing it with the schooling days today, i realise i should really start to accept the reality that i have the luxury no more to sleep into the late late afternoons!*groans*
Apart from the lack of sleep issue, it was basically a good week.
met some new people, had some time for myself at the library, met up with old friends for lunch and stuff and the lectures and tutorials proved to be quite entertaining. yea, which means on the whole still can make it la...cuz i haven't dozed off in class yet!...and this is quite a miracle you know.
CNY soon...
Resolutions?
maybe sleep less and work more. ( school and exercise) ...which in other words, means slack less.
save more so i can shop more. haha...it's an essential.
everyone to be happy.
Quote of the day:
There are some things that just leave you wanting more,
and some things that you just want to leave it at there.
--- genius me.

micellaneous?
Today's a good monday.
lectures were entertaining especially EL (i'm beginning to appreciate this mod) and i was awake throughout tho' it was a mere 4 hrs of sleep for me yesternight.
and thumbs up for today's weather! we have the mr. sun minus miss. humidity
...how perfect!
------------------------------------------------
Last night my sis and i were into busting roaches...ok maybe a roach.
apparently, at 4.30 am, the flyingbigfatuglygrossed looking thing crawled it's ways onto my sis's knees while she was sound asleep and when she woke to see what was the thing that was molesting her legs she jumped out like a crazy woman and screamed frantically for me-->( was in the kitchen pinching on CNY guddies) with her pillow, blanket and bolster in her hands...
took us bout 20 mins to keel that ugly thing and we were watching it dying slowly as it was soaked thoroughly in a pool of baygon--our hero! well the whole process's so disgusting i think i shall not attempt to explicitly describe it here in case i make you puke out your yesterday's breakfast or something. haha.
so does this reminds you of the infamous hit about the cockroach by guo pretty pretty? come to think of it, don't you guys think the lyrics MIA-HEE..MIA-HOO...sounds like a mule hee-hawing?*shrugs*
--------------------------------------------------
oh well, moving on, today's my sis's bday! 25....scary age huh.
anyway we had sushi dinner. the food's great but the experience was an unpleasant one.
first we met this rude auntie who cut queue..
then it took us 45 mins to get seated because of inconsiderate people who refused to leave the restaurant after their meals...
..but guess what, nothing could be more exasperating and angering than watching 2 ppl sitting at a 5 seater table, already finished eating (but who just simply refused to move their precious butts) continue to thick skin-ly root themselves there, and tear up napkins like some idiots...argh see, the more i describe the more pissed i get!
and to make things worse, we just had to sit near this cocky egoistic guy who can go on non stop about himself. it just spoils everyone's appetite. i have nothing against people who talk alot. but this guy who was so full of himself was not only talking non stop, he was talking LOUDLY non stop.i swear i almost wanted to pour the hot tea over his head and scream: " WHO CARES about you, you and you!!!!" straight into his ear drums.
oh no...i know i don't really sound like myself today. but i can't help ranting about all the weirdos i've met!
maybe because i was really hungry then, and so, moody, i guess. A hungry tiger is an angry tiger.
get my point?
dahhh..on a lighter note, tmr's my off day!
ok la...nothing much else to say.

RAM-day for me!
Is today an auspicious day for ramming or wad?
ramming 1:
old pei pei dashes across the road when bus was approaching...and then "BANG!" ...it scared the shit outta me for 1 min. (was happily sitting at the window seat)
nope, old pei pei wasn't rammed. but it was close. he probably slamed his hands onto the back of the bus.
ramming 2:
strolling down orchard road after a happy lunch at Marche'. along came a reckless rider..er yes, on his bicycle. (singapore post, i saw). everyone was moving out of his way. but just as i was about to react, he rammed straight and hard into me, since he was cycling at such high speed. took me 1 min before i recovered from shock and exclaimed an "OUCH". seriously, i don't know if i should blame it on my slow reaction, or his inconsiderateness( this word exists, according to my oxford).
ramming 3:
was happily looking forward to sleep while walking home when a bunch of lunatic kids charged towards me. and yup, i was rammed, again, as much as you can guess. just imagine like 10 or more bowling balls rolling towards one standing pin and u can understand how horrifying an experience that was. and apparently they were trying to compete racing across the road. cold-stared at them for 1 min before i went off my way.
maybe it wasn't an auspicious day for ramming.
maybe it was just an INauspicious day for me!
PS: the "happy" and "1 min" thing was over emphasized for an effect la. haha

misery O misery!
lately i heard too many stories.
humans are such weird creatures. one moment they feel elated, and in the very next moment, they morph into an all melancholy-depressed-crestfallen being. sometimes humans have to carry on their backs so many kinds of emotional weights it makes them rather schizophrenic, like they're a combination of the so many different types of personalities that it becomes disillusioning. minds become overpowered by erratic echoes of running thoughts and burning questions. questions that question who you are. questions that question the emptiness in your mind, heart. questions that question what you're wanting and yearning for.
i guess all these boils down to the word we all are afraid of: loneliness.
when you feel like you're being left out or forgotten, you suddenly feel loneliness. then you feel dejected and get depressed. and that's how the whole vicious cycle kicks off.
when you're reminiscing the old and long gone happy days, loneliness sets in and so does the vicious cycle.
when you feel like you have nothing else to say to this familiar stranger who seemed all familiar and yet so unfamiliar, and the effort to strike up a conversation merely ended flatly like it wasn't worth anything, you feel distant and loneliness surge in and there goes the vicious cycle again.
when you thought that someone might have understood you, but you were wrong, you feel small in your own planet and loneliness creeps in again.
see, it's really so tiring to be humans sometimes.
complex minds. complex lives.
seems like an inevitable fact
everyone's a victim of of their own minds.

finally! some light!
yippie! the sun's out!
and i knew that it would be a sunny weather today when i watched the sky last night. ah yes, i was fighting insomia( doings of 5 hours nap) and i noticed something unusual about the sky...it wasn't pink no more!
gah..pretty strong sunlight... blue sky hanging with huge fluffy white clouds, with some suspicious looking grey ones lurking behind the white ones...that's what i observe outside my window now.
just bought another text..and it cost me a bomb.
i am desperately looking forward to CNY..angpaos!
